Up next Friday 22nd June:
We’re super excited to have this confirmed for our first date at Basing House (our new home from June). We feel basing house is the best smaller scaled venue in london. With an intimate basement vibe, funktion 1 install and approach of the team behind the doors we can’t wait to get started.
Livity Sound LIVE. The bristol trio are heading to Roost following a very limited string of live showcases, which have set the heads talking. Their limited vinyl only label, run out of Idle Hands is standing heads high, Asusu’ “Sister” has been a firm favourite of ours for some time.
Individually All three of the artists Peverelist, Kowton an Asusu have been smashing it in their own rights releasing on labels such as Ominira and Hessle Audio.
Its going to be a special set with the guys playing a PROPER LIVE set: drumachines, pedals ahoy!
Next up, Steven Tang. Trust us we have wanted him over to play for ages and are over the moon to have this confirmed.
The emphasis recordings boss is flying from chicago to bring his deep hypnotic, occasionally acid twisted sound that makes his label up there on so many peoples list. Its fair to say quality supersedes and quantity from his camp. His recent drop under his moniker Obsolete Music Technology…..blimey.
22nd June, Basing House, Shoreditch.

Roost: Trevino Q&A

Ahead of Roost’s next event on May 26th at Relay aka Cable, where Trevino joins Gerry Read [LIVE], we decided to delve a little deeper in to ‘Trevino’ - Marcus Intalex’s new House/Techno guise.

With fairly limited information on his new project, a flurry of quality limited releases and the promise of many more lined up on the release schedule, he is causing a right old stir!

Recent cuts following ‘Chip’ on Martyns’ 3024 imprint , such as ‘Derelict/’Buried’ on Naked Lunch and his remix of Sepalcure just released on Hotflush have been getting huge props already.

This Q&A draws upon his influences, intended uncomfortableness, D&B crossover, studio quirks, upcoming material and much more.

Time to learn a little bit more about the mysterious Trevino…

Trevi no no no no.

Cant wait to hear sounds such as this at the Roost.

Wooly drops RA308.
